Michael has worked as a trial attorney, commercial litigator, transactional lawyer, and General Counsel for over 30 years. He has tried 75 cases to jury verdict as a prosecutor, defense lawyer, and plaintiff’s counsel in state and federal courts. Allweiss has also litigated in Florida, Arizona, California, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas. His civil trial practice experience focused on complex product liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and business litigation matters. In addition, Allweiss has special expertise in marine-related catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, which is based upon decades of experience as an offshore powerboat racer, marine industry executive, and high-performance boat operator. He also has performed appellate work from brief writing to oral argument in Florida, the Second, Fourth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal, and United States Supreme Court, and has extensive transactional, litigation, legal management, and General Counsel experience for a broad range of industries.
